😍 Announcing Peekio Connect

‍Peekio Connect is our brand new social platform with the goal of connecting people from all around the world. At first glance it might look like a regular forum, but there is so much more to it! Though we hope people will use this service to share moments from Peekio's various games and software, there is also room for general chit-chat between users. You can start your own groups or jump into a discussion in our already existing game channels.

Our social platform lets you open discussions (similar to Reddit), send small posts (similar to Twitter) or ask questions (similar to Quora / Yahoo! Answers). Peekio Connect is also structured similarly to how a forum could look like. In other words; you're getting the best of all worlds.

💭 Why did we create Peekio Connect?

‍The reason we wanted to create a social network stems back to 2020 when a debate started right here in the Stallion Squad discord group. People wanted a place to talk about games in a more organized manner, and that's what we designed Peekio Connect with in mind. Not a Discord text chat, not a Reddit feed. A new social media.

When we initially started developing Peekio Connect we planned to release the network as an app for mobile devices. After careful consideration we scrapped that idea and moved over to the web as it's more open, accessable and it lets us seamlessly update pages. Don't worry though, the idea of a Peekio Connect app is still on the table and anything is possible!

🏃 So... what's next?

‍A way to integrate your Peekio Connect account with Stallion Squad is in the works. This will let you share your favorite gameplay moments as they happen and it will smoothly sync up with the web front-end. In addition; we're also working on a way to spend your saved up Peekio Bucks (a new virtual currency earned on Peekio Connect) on our various games to earn in-game swag!
