🎉 Improved Lobby Experience:

The lobby has been overhauled with a new tabbing system which lets you change tabs in the lobby a breeze. The news widget is now utilizing our brand new public API to fetch news updates so that we can update them in real-time without needing to update the game.

🔧 Steam Workshop Support:

The most notable addition to this update is the Steam Workshop! Share your worlds with the community or download worlds uploaded by others! You can also upvote/downvote, favorite, filter and get verified. We're hoping to see the Workshop expand in the future and become a small metaverse inside of the Stallion Squad game.

Changes

Gameplay:

• Added a flat world option when creating a world.
• Added a rotating fan-art billboard in the hub. Get featured by posting on our Discord!
• You can no longer spawn in Steam items if you don't own them.
• Added our first iteration of weekly chests you can open with keys to get a random drop.

UI and UX:

• The lobby now uses a tabbing system for user convenience.
• Added a tab in the lobby to check your Steam Inventory and interact with it.
• Updated the news widget in the lobby to utilize an API for real-time updating.
• The news widget will now auto-scroll between all the news posts.
• Updated the Leaderboard and Friend List UI.
• Two buttons to open local and steam directories have been added.
• The UI that used the Roboto font has been changed to Burbank Small.

Art and Music:

• Added the Founder items to the game.

Technical:

• Our public API will allow you to create bots and other software using variables used in Stallion Squad. We're still working on documenting this, but for now you can find the API at https://www.peekio.no/api/
